According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in the January to August period of this year, Ukraine's exports of iron ore increased by 7% YoY to 25.3 million tonnes.

Meanwhile, exports of iron ore from Ukraine increased by 4.7% in August compared to July, rising to 3 million tonnes.

In the January to August period, Ukrainian imports of iron ore increased by 22% YoY to 1.907 million tonnes. In August alone, Ukraine's imports of iron ore decreased by 2.5% compared to July, falling to 236,000 MT.
