Iron ore inventory at 38 Chinese ports stood at 76.60 million tonnes as of September 22 down 0.20 million tonnes from September 13. Indian stock amounts to 1.05 million tonnes, down 0.05 million tonnes from a week before.

Given current steelmaking activities in China we estimate port inventories are of 23.80 days of consumption, down 0.07 day from last week.
