International Gemological Institute Joins Responsible Jewelry Council

The Responsible Jewelry Council recently announced that the International Gemological Institute, a leading authority on diamonds, colored stones and pearls, has become a member of the council.
The International Gemological Institute will join over 130 diamond and gold suppliers, traders and service providers who are members of the Responsible Jewelry Council.
International Gemological Institute President and CEO Jerry Ehrenwald stated: “We are proud to be a member of the Responsible Jewelry Council and look forward to working together to ensure the responsible and ethical advancement of the industry and collaborating on the development of the council's education initiatives and appraisal guidelines.”
