The Diamond Award is an internationally recognized competition for concrete sawing and drilling companies to demonstrate excellence in a project in terms of its planning, complexity, innovation, degree of difficulty and quality.

The International Association of Concrete Drillers and Sawers (IACDS), are sponsors of the award, and the three winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held at 10.00 am on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 during the World of Concrete exhibition in Las Vegas, USA. IACDS president, Patrick O'Brien, will present the award.

As prizes, the top three in the competition will be flown to Las Vegas and be given three nights accommodation in a hotel. Around 16 companies have so far submitted an entry to the competition and they can be viewed on the IACDS website.
