ZEC Abrasive Discs S.p.A., world-leader in coated semi-flexible abrasives for professionals, has expanded its line of semi-flexible discs for aggressive grinding applications by introducing the ZEC Plastic SuperFlat: this new heavy duty disc is a concave-shaped semi-flexible disc, in 7”/178mm diameter, which delivers outstanding performance on flat grinding applications.
Furthermore they added new Silicon Carbide grits to their line, with grit size 12 for their world-famous ZEC Semiflex disc on vulcanized fiber, and grit sizes 10 and 12 for the ZEC Plastic disc/wheel.
Since its foundation in 1958, ZEC has always been at the forefront of the coated abrasive industry by designing the first-ever semi-flexible disc on fiber, the ZEC Semiflex, and later came the creation of the ZEC Double Coated flexible fiber disc. Afterwards ZEC invented the ZEC Plastic disc, the first-ever semi-flexible disc with a built-in back-up pad/support, also known as the ZEC Wheel. ZEC’s R&D team is now working on the next generation of Type 29 domed semi-flexible abrasive disc.
Original ZEC semi-flexible abrasive discs are manufactured only in their plant in Italy and only with first-rate raw-materials: their unique ZEC technology grants the utmost reliability of the Original ZEC semi-flexible discs, which are always and only marked with their distinctive golden print.
