Jiangsu Nanjing complete washing out 2.1 million tonne iron making capacity in 2013

According to Nanjing Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Nanjing, Where Nanjing Steel, Yuhua Steel, Baosteel Meishan Steel etc locate, announced the elimination of 2.1 million tonnes outdated capacity in ironmaking.
Nanjing plans to wash out 2.1 million tonnes in ironmaking, 0.24 million tonnes in cement industry, 10,000 tonnes in copper smelting and 10,000 tonnes in textile. Nanjing Iron & Steel Co Ltd is the only steel maker involved.
