China's average daily crude steel output decreases in late November

On December 9, the China Iron and Steel Association announced that in late November (Nov 21 to 30) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.709 million tonne, down 2.4% compared to mid November (Nov 11-20).
Meanwhile, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China in late November was estimated at 2.091 million tonne, indicating a decrease of 1.9% compared with mid-November.
According to the CISA's previous figures, in mid November this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.75 million tonne, down 0.7% compared to early November (Nov 1 to 10). In mid November, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.1319 million tonne, indicating a decrease of 0.57% compared with early November.
Meanwhile, as of November 30 this year, inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 12.954 million tonne, down 980,000 tonne or 7% as compared to the figure recorded on November 20.
