Technology Innovation Strategic Union Committee meeting of High Efficiency and Precision Abrasives Industry was held in Zhengzhou, on Dec 17, 2013. There’re more than 30 leaders and representatives from 14 member units, including president unit Zhengzhou Institute for Abrasives & Grinding Products and vice president unit Luxin Venture Capital Group Co.,Ltd, White Dove Abrasives Co.,Ltd, Suzhou Far-East Abrasives Co.,Ltd, Superhard Material Sub-Association of CMTBA. And the meeting specially invited Xie Tianfeng and Jin Huan for the guidance, vice director of Provincial Science and Technology Ministry for High-Tech Zone and the president of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone Science Association.

Vice director of Provincial Science and Technology Hall for High-Tech Zone, Xie Tianfeng thanked for the members’ coming, spoke highly of cooperation and innovation, promoting the technological progress of industry and put forward high requirements for future development of union in the meeting. The secretary-general, Liu Mingyao made a state for union promoting and perfecting its operating mechanism, organizing industrial technological innovation and the achievements transformations, service development and the key cooperating programs of national science and technology, arranged the 2014 work and notified the authorized strength of union science and technology development planning.

Director of the secretariat office, Wang Aizhen organized to check and approve the union management method. And the worker, Shao Junyong read requirement of the Ministry of Science and Technology to “The Notice of Conducting the Second National Industry Technological Innovation Strategic Union Evaluation Work” and deployed the plan of evaluation work.

The members communicated with each other for the latest technology. The president of Shaanxi Qinchuan Machinery Development Co.,Ltd, Wang Junling exchanged views with members for the technical demand of blade grinding and pointed out the key technology and difficulty of titanium alloy material high-speed grinding, hoping to solve the problems through the union internal cooperation.

Technological innovation strategic union of high-efficiency and precision abrasives industry was established officially in April 2010 to promote the development of high-efficiency and precision abrasives industry, adapt the development demand of national equipment manufacturing industry, aerospace, automotive manufacturing and new energy and realize the goal of mid and long term science and technology development plan and national economy development strategy planning. The union targets the platform of important technological innovation of high-efficiency and precision abrasives industry, creating independent intellectual property rights and key technology standard; carries out the cooperation about the key problem of high-efficiency and precision abrasives industry technological innovation, breaks the core technology of industry development and forms important industry technology standard; builds public technology platform to realize the effective distribution and reasonable connection of innovative resources of union members and intellectual property sharing; carries out the technology transformation, speeds up the commercial application of technological achievements and promotes the overall industry competitiveness; cultivates the talents and strengthens communication among members to provide the talents for the industry sustainable innovation.

The union was seen as the experimental unit in April 2012. There’re 15 members in the union at present, including upstream and downstream leading manufacturing enterprises, institutes and universities in the filed of high-efficiency and precision abrasives.
