Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) - Brush Research Manufacturing (BRM), maker of flexible hones and industrial brushes, is announcing plans to attend AeroDef Manufacturing from February 25 to 27 at the Long Beach, California Convention Center. Defense and aerospace manufacturers are invited to visit BRM in Booth #554 and discover industry-leading surface finishing solutions. Use Promo Code 10003623 to register for the exhibits.
AeroDef is where the defense and aerospace industry discovers manufacturing technologies that promote quality and efficiencywhile helping to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveries. Sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), this informative summit, conference, and tradeshow features keynote speakers, presentations, technical sessions, executive insights, and tradeshow exhibits.
Diamond Flex-Hone® and Flex-Hone® for Chamfer Blending Technology
BRM’s Diamond Flex-Hone® tools are used for deburring, edge blending, and surface finishing hard materials such as aerospace alloys, carbides, and ceramics. To aid in heat dissipation and improve bond retention, these flexible hones are made with coated diamond abrasive that’s self-sharpening. In addition to diamond tools, defense and aerospace customers can choose Flex-Hone® tools for chamfer blending in different grits and abrasive types.
Diamond tools and flexible hones for chamfer blending are used for inner diameter (ID) surface finishing, and can help defense and aerospace manufacturers to automate labor-intensive operations. Flex-hone® applications include through-hole edge rounding in aircraft engines, chamfer blending on rotating engine parts, and surface improvement of helicopter drive shafts. Flexible hones are also used to surface finish and polish hydraulic swivel components and landing gear equipment.
NamPower Brush Tools
NamPower nylon abrasive brushes are used for deburring, edge blending, and outer diameter (OD) surface finishing. Designedfor use with semi-automatic or fully-automatic equipment, these high-performance power brushes feature a combination of ceramicand silicon carbide abrasives that produce maximum burr removal rates while achieving an ideal surface finish at the same time.
Like flexible files, NamPower brushes conform closely to part contours. By decreasing spindle speed with increased depth of interference, users can ensure that the brush tool’s nylon filaments wipe across part surfaces rather than hitting the part and bouncing off. In addition to Flex-Hone® tools and NamPower abrasive nylon brushes (video), BRM supplies industrial brushes for parts cleaning.
