Industry association show support for EMTE-EASTPO 2014

Strategically set in China, the EMTE-EASTPO machine tool exhibition will gather key market leaders at the Shanghai at New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 14-17 July 2014.It serves as a sourcing platform for agents, distributors and buyers to meet some 1,000 manufacturers worldwide for their sourcing needs.
The inaugural joint exhibition has secured strong support from industry associations representing the major end-user sectors of the machine tool industry in Asia. Joining in the bandwagon includes:

Speakers and summit programme confirmed for CEO Summit
Held in conjunction with the EMTE-EASTPO machine tool exhibition, the EMTE-EASTPO CEO Summit is a high level summit focusing on profitable growth through state-of-the-art manufacturing.
Scheduled for 15 July 2014 in Shanghai, the CEO Summit will feature a panel of distinguished speakers from Bystronic, COMAU (Shanghai), CEIBS China (Shanghai) and Volkswagen Group China to name a few who will be sharing their experiences with top machine tool buyers from China and the rest of Asia.
The summit programme will cover the following areas, namely:
- Session 1: Machine tools & automation: Global trends and China issues
- Session 2: The voice of customers: Perspectives from producers and suppliers
- Session 3: Operational excellence and improved productivity
- Session 4: Latest technologies for effective production in China
Strong national pavilions representation at EMTE-EASTPO
Represented at this year’s exhibition are country groups from Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Spain and Switzerland as well a list of exhibiting companies including Agie Charmilles, Bystronic, Carl Zeiss, Fastems, Starrag and Korber Schleifring etc.
The joint exhibition will feature the high quality standards of major exhibitions in Europe, such as strict exhibitor admission rules, protection of intellectual property rights of manufacturers, and live product demonstrations.
Exhibits will also be presented according to product sectors, including machine tools, precision tools, parts, components, accessories, manufacturing and process automation, metrology and quality assurance, and services.
