CADSYS Scandinavia, SolidCAM’s reseller in Denmark, will present the full power of SolidCAM and iMachining at the VTM2014 tradeshow, in April 2014. Live cutting using SolidCAM’s unique, patented and revolutionary iMachining technology, will be demonstrated with Live-cutting on a 5-axis CNC milling machine, equipped with tools from Ghring.
CADSYS Scandinavia ApS, resells SolidCAM and InventorCAM in Denmark, Sweden and Finland and will be exhibiting at Denmark’s largest manufacturing technologies event - VTM2014, at the Odense Congress Center, 1st - 4th April 2014.
This is the second edition of Denmark’s metal working exhibition, which focuses on manufacturing technology, including machines, software and tools. 5,000 manufacturing specialists are expected to visit the fair.
The company will be demonstrating its full suite of SolidCAM CAD/CAM products for milling and turning, including its software for advanced mill-turn applications. Apart from the live cutting demonstration, CADSYS will present the power of combining the intuitive CAD program SpaceClaim and SolidCAM in one package, to increase the flexibility of the modern subcontractor.
Managing Director Ricco Busk states: “This show is one the two most important manufacturing exhibitions in Scandinavia, and we have enlarged our booth just to make sure all visitors get the right chance to see SolidCAM’s full potential. We are cooperating with Flextek A/S and using one of its 5-axis milling centers for the live machining demonstrations, and also with ring Denmark, which will be supplying the machine with cutting tools”.
As said, SolidCAM's iMachining technology saves 70% and more in CNC machining time, and extends tool life dramatically. The iMachining Technology Wizard provides reliable cutting data for the user, automatically determining speeds and feeds and other machining parameters.
Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to talk with CAD/CAM experts from CADSYS about the latest technologies in milling and turning, from 2-axis right up to multiple simultaneous axis milling and turning.
