China is planning to offer a special discount interest rate for imported raw materials, according to an announcement published on the National Development and reform Commission website.



The interest discount was created to encourage more resource product and raw material imports. It also took effect the moment the announcement was published.



Products covered by the favorable import rate includes: nickel ores, copper concentrates, zinc concentrates, lead concentrates, and ferronickel.
