Based on its proprietary technologies in super-abrasives machining industry, Supower announces the availability of its in-house re-works services of dull & recyclable PDC cutters to PDC manufacturers as well as oil, gas and coal mining companies worldwide. At the cost of 10 to 20 USD each, customers will get the 50 to 150 USD worth of high quality recycled blanks, which will allow them to obtain a great extra income, or lower their cost of raw materials to the minimum.

1) Range of PDC cutters renewable

The range includes un-used blanks whose internal quality is the same as that of standard ones, while their shapes are un-qualified due to processing errors. For example, tilt cylinders and damaged edges.

This also refers to those already used and picked up from matrix of drill bits. They could be recycled so long as their internal materials are not damaged.

(2) We process them into standard blanks of relatively smaller sizes

By utilizing its state-of-art technologies in laser cutting, wire EDM machining, lapping & polishing and special mechanical machining, Supower processes PDC cutters into relatively smaller sizes (see table below). Supower maximizes the utilization of renewable PDC cutter blanks. For example, the processing may have an output of 3 pieces of 0806 or 0808 cutters from each renewable 1908 blank.

(3) Reliable quality control

Supower has established a scientific and strict total quality tracking system, which will help make sound judgment as to whether the cutters are of re-use value, and hence ensures un-rivaled quality reliability of the recycled blanks.

(4) The processing is not influenced by electrical conductivity

Supower utilizes its proprietary hi-tech laser machining technologies for processing. This leads to reduced cost and unbeatable efficiency, and the machining is not influenced by the poor conductivity caused by leaching.

(5) Un-matched productivity

Supower has a strong capacity in PDC recycling, and this can be increased as per the market need at any time. Its ultimate annual processing capacity will be increased to tens of millions of pieces.
