How to get more value from your machinery

Many smaller companies are compelled in the current climate to avoid new purchases. Purchases of expensive capital items such as new machinery are being deferred in favour of keeping older machinery in service.
For many years JEMTECH has supplied equipment suitable for retrofitting to existing machines. As technology and safety requirements have developed, many older machines either require replacement or have to be upgraded.
JEMTECH's PRAXXIS controls offer a very practical way to add precision electronic control to older machines. For example older limit switch controlled press-brakes have been superseded by nut-stop and servo controlled machines. However there is no reason why a PRAXXIS limit switch or nut-stop control system can't be fitted to such a machine to greatly improve its performance and use-ability.
Similarly, PRAXXIS systems can be used to upgrade rollformers, long-folders, backguages, cut-off saws and many other machines requiring accurate measurement and control. We have experience fitting to machines that have never had such controls as well as replacing and upgrading existing systems with failing and hard-to-service controls.
At the same time, JEMTECH supplies safety systems for press-brakes, long-folders and many other types of machines. These safety systems are frequently integrated with PRAXXIS controls to provide a complete machine upgrade.
In these economic days, it makes sense to look at improving the performance of existing machinery with locally manufactured and serviced equipment that doesn't cost the earth.
