The Rapaport Group will hold a rough diamond tender in Israel from October 18-22.

The tender, which will reportedly feature a selection of fine quality 1- to 10-carat rough diamonds, is expected to be of interest to both local and international buyers.

Rapaport Group Chairman Martin Rapaport stated: "The Rapaport Group is committed to supporting fair market access to rough diamonds and believes that all cutters should have access to rough diamonds at competitive prices."

The tender in Israel comes in the wake of a highly successful September tender of more than 43,000 carats of polished diamonds, which was held in New York.

Additional polished-diamond tenders in New York are scheduled for October 19-22, November 16-19 and December 7-10.
