Waterjet cutting continues to advance as a manufacturing process technology even as it draws increasing interest from machining and fabricating operations. Their interest is driven by the systems’ versatility for cutting and cleaning different materials, which offers the operators different commercial opportunities. It also has decided environmental advantages, depending on the shops’ different objectives or requirements.

Flow International Corporation will demonstrate its own contributions to the expanding technology at IMTS 2014, with live demonstrations of three options for manufacturers’ and fabricators’ varying applications, different models for different “price points,” according to the developer.

In addition to the waterjet cutting system demonstrations, Flow International will exhibit various pumps designed and manufactured to support and enhance the cutting and cleaning process.
