Steel rebar futures continue to slide - Near USD 450 mark

Rebar steel futures at Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) fell more than 2% in a day to a record low under pressure from a weak housing market in China and excess supply
Rebar for January delivery dropped to CNY 2,766 per tonne (USD 451)
Prices fell in physical market at almost all locations
