China: Aluminum maker suspected of causing environmental damage in Hunan

China-based Chuangyuan Aluminum Co. Ltd. has been suspected of causing environmental damage in the country's Hunan Province, Xinhua reports.
The local government said the aluminum manufacturer is accused of releasing untreated waste that has apparently caused crop damage and serious health issues.
Central and local authorities are investigating the case.
Beijing News reported that fluoride from Chuangyuan's aluminum processing projects has caused cancer to over 10 people.
