Photovoltaic project management company Krannich Solar Projekt GmbH will carry out future photovoltaic projects in Turkey with the Basak Group. Joint activity will begin in early 2015. Over the next few years, they plan to build solar parks with a total volume of 40 MWp capacity.
Krannich Solar Projekt is contributing its technical planning expertise in areas including consultation, electrical design, layout and assessment, as well as supplying components.
During the finalisation of the project, Krannich Solar’s subsidiary will take care of quality management, documentation, measurement protocols and handover documentation. With its excellent local network, the Basak Group is responsible for ensuring planning consent for the park, contract design, and on-site construction and implementation.
The Basak Group was founded in 1969, and is today one of the leading suppliers in the Turkish construction industry. It is active in six business segments. The company is based in Eskisehir, where it produces its own roof tiles. It also has a concrete factory, its own quarry, and a construction company. As property developers, they construct entire residential complexes. The youngest branch of the company, BSK Energy, came into being a year ago.
Together with Krannich Solar Projekt GmbH, BSK Energy will construct solar parks with a minimum capacity of 0.5 MWp. In this endeavour, BSK Energy will benefit from its many years of experience in the Turkish construction industry. Managing Director Rainer Burkhardt is convinced that he has found the ideal partner in BSK. “With our know-how in the construction of solar parks and BSK’s fantastic network, we complement each other perfectly and create the best conditions for implementing successful photovoltaic projects in the Turkish market.”
