The Ketura Solar Power plant will have an installed capacity of 40 MW and will cover 600,000 square meters.

STiNorland group has begun the construction of a 40 MW solar plant at Kibbutz Ketura for EGE Ketura – a consortium of ET Solutions, Elmor and G-systems.

The project includes 3,342 units of the STI-F5 structure and more than 140,000 Trina Solar modules.

Construction is expected to last until the end of April and the project is jointly owned by Arava Power and EDF EN Israel.

Bank Hapoalim has provided NIS250 million ($63 million) to finance the project, approximately 80% of the total cost.

With the project, the Spanish manufacturer of solar trackers and structures surpasses 75 MW supplied and installed in the country in the past three years, becoming a market leader in the region.

With the 40 MW project, STiNorland's international under-construction project portfolio exceeds 190 MW of fixed structures and solar trackers – PV and CPV – in the Middle East, north, and South America, resulting in a track record of more than 500 MW.
