Greek company Photovoltaic to invest in renewable energy in Turkey

Greek solar energy company Photovoltaic Energy Systems is preparing to invest in renewable energy in Turkey, a company official said.
The company will invest in solar projects in a district of the western city of Edirne, which neighbors Greece, said Kalenteridis Evaggelos.
The company was searching for a place to invest for some time and settled on the Kesan district as it is an organized industrial zone,” Evaggelos said.
The company aims to invest in the Thrace region of Turkey at first and then spread the projects to the rest of the country,” he said.
He added that the company will continue to produce in Komotini. ”The company plans to produce in Kesan in the future,” he said.
The Greek solar energy company will operate as a member of the chamber of industry and trade of Kesan, Mustafa Helvacıoğlu, chairman of the board, said.
