Pangang Group Chengdu Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (PGG CSST) has entered a debugging stage for its high-speed wire rod project following the start-up of a heating furnace on September 29. Construction has already been completed on such main relevant equipment as roughing mill, pre-finishing mill, finishing mill, reducing mill, wire drawing mill, cooling rollers path, PF line, packing machine as well as assistant pipelines for hydraulic pressure, lubrication, cooling water and compressed air. The roughing mill is due to start hot commissioning on October 22, followed by a test run throughout the flow.
