Hunan Xianghui Metal Products, one of the three subsidiaries of Valin Xiangtan Steel, officially launched a 180,000 t/y production line on November 1, allowing the metal factory to become one of Chinas five largest producers of PC wire strand and PC steel wire. Add in the new capacity, Xiangtan Steel, a large integrated steel mill of premium flat, wire rod and bar, will have a metal product capacity of 300,000 tons per year.
