A marble crypt that is right above the remains of film icon Marilyn Monroe has failed to sell for a second time.
The burial vault at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery received no bids at all in the latest attempted auction, Eric Gazin, of AuctionCause.com has revealed.
Elsie Poncher had first tried to sell her late husband's tomb in August but nothing came of it even though she ran an advert on eBay that said: "Spend eternity directly above Marilyn Monroe."
Mrs Poncher is hoping to sell the crypt, in which her late husband lies buried face down above Monroe, to raise funds to pay the mortgage on her Beverly Hills home.
Mrs Poncher explained that the plan is for her husband's remains to be moved to a neighbouring plot.
Farrah Fawcett and Dean Martin are also buried at the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.
