VSM Abrasives is proud to announce the re-launch of their e-newsletter titled, The Coated Chronicle. The publication has been revived to bring readers new product launch information, the latest industry insights and informational guides for industry education.

It was during the 2008-2009 recession, that the company decided to halt many of its marketing efforts in order to focus more on its core business. Refocusing such efforts allowed the company to remain a successful coated abrasive supplier in difficult times. Now, with an improved economy, VSM Abrasives has decided to re-launch their e-newsletter in order to keep their customers better informed.

The Coated Chronicle is a quarterly publication that promises to refrain from many overloading subscribers’ inboxes. It also guarantees to provide readers with information such as: product spotlights, customer success stories, educational articles and more. It also will grow with its readership to become an interactive tool where readers can “Ask the Expert” and partake in anonymous polls or surveys.

During the initial re-launch, this July, The Coated Chronicle grew by a couple thousand subscribers. “This is a good indication that readers find the material informative and appealing,” said Rachel Krafft, Sales and Marketing Coordinator for VSM Abrasives. With the next issue to launch this October, “we are inviting everyone in the industry to sign up,” said Rachel. “Those who are interested can simply visit our newly redesigned website and select the newsletter icon near the bottom of our homepage.”
