In the past 5 years, China's economy has maintained vigorous growth, playing as an active and constructive role in the world. This list shows a set of data which specify China's contribution to the global economy:
Global growth, still made in China
From 2011 to 2015, China's economic growth has contributed over 25 percent to the global economy. China became the most important engine of the world economic growth, providing a main driving force for global economic recovery.
"A few numbers bear this out. If Chinese GDP growth reaches 6.7 percent in 2016 - in Monetary Fund's latest prediction (6.6 percent) - China would account for 1.2 percentage points of world GDP growth. With the IMF currently expecting only 3.1 percent global growth this year, China would contribute nearly 39 percent of the total.
That share dwarfs the contribution of other major economies. For example, while the United States is widely praised for a solid recovery, its GDP is expected to grow by just 2.2 percent in 2016 - enough to contribute just 0.3 percentage points to overall world GDP growth, or only about a quarter of the contribution made by China."

Overseas direct investment
Until 2015, China's foreign direct investment has increased in 14 consecutive years, reaching $145.67 billion and ranking second in the world. From January to November in 2016, China's foreign direct investment was 1069.63 billion yuan, 55.3 percent higher than the same period in 2015, involving over 160 countries and regions worldwide. Chinese enterprises completed 561 overseas mergers and acquisitions with the transaction value up to $82.4 billion.
At the beginning of 2016 there were more than 1900 90,000 people. Chinese investment is win-win: U.S. businesses which attract foreign investment are more likely to expand, add employees, and earn greater profits.

Exchange Rate Stabilizer
Ever since the 2005 exchange rate reform, the nominal rate of exchange of the RMB has appreciated by 20 percent against the US dollar and its real effective exchange rate appreciated by 56 percent from July, 2005 to the end of 2015. Meanwhile, the fluctuation band of the RMB's exchange rate has been gradually widening.
Emission reduction
Emissions in China declined in 2014 for the first time since 1999, registering a drop of around 130 Mt (1.5%).

Import & Export
During the 15 years of China's accession (2001- 2015), China's imports increased six-fold in value, rising from $0.24 trillion to $1.68 trillion. China's share in world's goods imports increased from 3.8 percent to 10.1 percent.
China's foreign trade remained stable in a sluggish world economy. With a total international trade volume of over 24 trillion yuan, China's share in global trade was more than 13 percent, making a contribution of over 30 percent to global trade growth. China has played a fundamental role in supporting world economy, safeguarding the stability and prosperity of world trade system in post-crisis era.
