Chinese crude steel production in 10 months seen at 471 million tonnes

Metal Biz reported that in the late ten days of October in 2009, 73 steel members attending China Iron and Steel Association production and operation statistics, produced a total crude steel 14.0069 million tonnes, pig iron 13.5877 million tonnes, steel products 13.5622 million tonnes, coke 3.5948 million tonnes.
The daily outputs were 1.2734 million tonnes, 1.2352 million tonnes, 1.2329 million and 326,800 tonnes respectively.
Correspondingly, the daily yield of crude steel increased by 3,300 tonnes than mid October of 2009 up by 0.26%, the daily production of pig iron rose by 12,900 tonnes up by 1.05%, that of steel products grew by 40,800 tonnes up by 3.44%; that of coke dropped by 3,500 tonnes down by 1.06%. The major enterprises in October accumulatively produced coke 10.2662 million tonnes, pig iron 38.197 million tonnes, crude steel 39.785 million tonnes and steel products 37.292 million tonnes.
Estimated according to this, in these ten days, China produced totally crude steel for 18.1483 million tonnes, pig iron 17.6261 million tonnes, steel products 22.6089 million tonnes and coke 10.9829 million tonnes. T
he daily productions were 1.6498 million tonnes, 1.6024 million tonnes, 2.0554 million tonnes and 998,400 tonnes compared to the daily output in September, the crude steel declined by 2.4%, pig iron rose by 0.32%, steel products hiked by 0.82%, coke tumbled by 4.96%.
Till the ten day period China accumulatively produced crude steel 471.9491 million tonnes, pig iron 455.8617 million tonnes, steel products 563.9674 million tonnes and coke 285.0564 million tonnes, the accumulative daily production of crude steel 1.5525 million tonnes, pig iron 1.4995 million tonnes, steel products 1.8552 million tonnes and coke 937,700 tonnes.
