On November 14, Chongqing Steel successfully cut the first steel plate days after a double side trimming shear was installed along with its 4,100 mm wide plate production line as part of the mills environment relocation program. As of November 10, the mill had cut 91 pieces of plate, weighting about 600 tons in total.
