Anshan Iron and Steel Group (Ansteel) has established a strategic alliance with China International Marine Containers Group (CIMC), a Shenzhen-based manufacturer and services supplier of container, road vehicles, energy, chemicals, food machines, ocean engineering and airport equipment, on the basis of equality and mutual trust, risk sharing, mutual benefit and joint development under which the two groups can exchange views on techniques, corporate governance, enterprise cultures and concerns of other common issues. Having benefited from a ten-year long cooperation, Ansteel has become the largest supplier of container steel for CIMC.
