The use of marble diamond segment blades in marble sculpting

In the process of making marble statues, fixtures and other structures certain stone cutting tools with diamond blades composed of marble diamond segments are used to cut bricks, blocks or slabs of marble into desired pieces for easier sculpting. Marble diamond segments come in different diameters, core thicknesses and its use is dependent on the thickness of the marble slab to be cut. Marble diamond segments which are smaller in diameter are used to cut smaller marble slabs, and larger diameter marble diamond segments are used to cut bigger marble blocks.
After the pieces of marble are trimmed to desired pieces, the marble is then shaped. Here, you would need to use marble shaping diamond tools. These shaping tools also come in different forms: you can use a mallet and a chisel, or special diamond horizontal blades to aid in the shaping process. Other shaping tools use pressurized gas, lasers or marble squaring tools. Marble squaring is done if you need to shape the marble into a specific size; in this case, a tile saw marble tool is used.
If you need to drill a hole into your marble structure, you will need to use marble stone cutting tools equipped with diamond drill bits.
Once the marble structure or statue is shaped to its desired form, it is then polished using marble polishing tools. Marble polishing pads are used to aid in creating a shiny finish to the structure that was created.
Since stone cutting tools and blades are expensive in price, you should do your own research on the different types of blades and tools that are available, and how each one can be used before deciding on purchasing them. You can seek the help of your retailer for more information.
