Baosteel has produced a second 140-ton bottom mounted two-way lift platform carrier vehicle. Compared with the first one made in January of this year, the new vehicle features a 20 percent cut in production cost with a construction period of less than 50 working days. Next, Baosteel will look at the development and manufacturing of parts of these platform vehicles. Another 120-ton bottom mounted two-way vehicle is under construction, and study of a 90-ton bottom mounted single-way vehicle and a 150-ton top mounted single-way vehicle is underway.
