Valin Lianyuan Steel demolished a 320-cubic meter blast furnace that was built in 1985 for its failure to meet the needs creating an environmentally friendly community. Since the beginning of this century, the mill has scraped 18 coal-burning boilers, three six-ton electric furnaces, two 24-square meter sintering machines, three 15-ton converters and several open-train mills, as well as suspending two 40-suquar meter sintering machines and a 4.2-meter coking oven.
