China's Joint venture of SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, has set up its lab for building and metal materials in Xiamen. It means Xiamen stone companies can easier get CE official certification on stone export to European, African and Asian countries.
Jue Qikang, supervisor of the lab said: "The lab in Xiamen can directly send inspection results to the head office in Switzerland, and the companies can get the certification in Xiamen. The time for the whole process will be shortened to 10 days from the previous 40 days."
