It's official: American singer Katy Perry and English comedian and TV persona Russell Brand are engaged, the Daily Mail Online reported.

Evidence of the good news became clear Monday, after paparazzi following the couple around London, where they spent the weekend after returning from a Christmas and New Year vacation spent in India and Thailand, caught a glimpse of Perry's diamond engagement ring – a two-carat diamond set in a thick gold band.
