Does supermodel Naomi Campbell's jewelry collection include a blood diamond? War crimes prosecutors allege former Liberian President Charles Taylor tried to woo the British supermodel by gifting her with a conflict diamond back in 1997.

According to an ABC News report, Taylor – who is currently facing International War Crimes Court charges for using abhorrent brutality to support rebels in neighboring Sierra Leone, as well as conflict diamond trading charges – is believed to have given such a diamond to Campbell in 1997 after the two attended a gala a dinner in South Africa.

Taylor reportedly rejected the allegations as “total nonsense."

The report quoted a statement by a spokesperson for Naomi Campbell, which said that she has been cooperating in full with the ICC investigation. The statement, however neither confirmed nor denied the existence of the diamond.
