Jewelry Insider reports that earrings were the big stars at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony.



The earrings came in all shapes and forms from tassels to topaz and tear-drops. Julianne Moore wore emerald earrings by Bulgari, while Courtney Cox appeared in breathtaking topaz earrings.



Dangling diamond earrings twinkled at the ears of prize winner Sandra Bullock while Chloe Sevigny and Tina Fey made their appearance in diamond cluster earrings.



Some of the stars went for understatement with simpler earrings - Penelope Cruz and Maggie Gylenhaal chose simple diamond drops, while Drew Barrymore wore Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs.



Cuffs were also super popular but necklaces – diamond or other kinds - were few and far between.
