Recently, FedEx announced in Shanghai to put its Boeing 777 cargo aircraft into operation in the airline from Shanghai to the US Memphis to enhance the control of Shanghai freight market. As a matter of fact, from the beginning of this year, international express giants including UPS and FedEx unexceptionally showed a strong interest in Shanghai and successfully competed for the World Expo market.
In the face of the vast World Expo logistics market, domestic logistics enterprises won't be left behind. China National Foreign Trade Transportation Group Corporation recently announced to kick off the World Expo logistics projects. To better serve Shanghai World Expo, the Group has organized the professional team to give full support in the guarantee of resources. China Southern Airlines also brought in 2 Boeing 777 cargo aircrafts for Shanghai market last month to beef up its cargo volume, which means that the Airlines, whose headquarters is in Guangzhou, will conduct the global network deployment with Shanghai as the freight hub.
