Abstract: People now pay a good deal of attention to how to deposit diamond coating which is high bonded strength, low roughness on cemented carbide matrix. The restricting factor of CVD diamond coating tool industrialization is adhesiveness between it and cemented carbide matrix. Many experiments show that it can improve the adhesiveness between diamond coating and cemented carbide matrix through the surface pretreatment of cemented carbide matrix. This article makes systemic exposition on surface pretreatment of cemented carbide matrix through physical pretreatment, chemical pretreatment, interlayers method, etc. It points out that different pretreatments have different effects on adhesiveness.
