Abstract: Reform and opening-up promoted the flourish development of modern science technology and industry and prompted the development of diamond industry and relevant subjects. The essay divided 45 years’ development of synthetic diamond industry into three major periods. The term of each period is 15-year. The first 15-year is prototype development of diamond industry; The second 15-year began to take shape; The third 15-year that made our country superpower of diamond production in the world developed greatly.
