Hebei Iron and Steel Group produced 38.96 million tons of pig iron, 40.27 million tons of steel and 35.64 million tons of steel products last year, retaining the country’s largest steelmaker by output. The group obtained sales revenue of 177 billion yuan and a profit and tax of seven billion yuan.
