Abstract Taking shaping-�treated green silicate carbide and silicon powder as starting materials and gum and sodium silicate as additives,pouring-formed Si3 N4 bonded SiC articles were manufactured.Based on the analysis on the control system and sintering principle of vacuum nitridizing sintering temperature,a rational nitriding sintering technical curve was developed.The pouring-formed Si₃Ni-SiC nozzle tubes obtained with the above sintering temperature curve were used in many companies and proved superior,capable of replacing imported products.The sintering temperature curve developed by the authors is proved rational and can remarkably decrease the reject ratio.
