Information recently issued by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce indicated that in 2009, the import and export of the provincial foreign-invested enterprises presented a momentum of strong growth, up 21.5% against the trend, accounting for 30.08% of the provincial total.

Based on statistics of the Customs, in 2009, the total value of import and export of the provincial foreign-invested enterprises stood at USD2.527b, up 21.5% year-on-year, making up 30.08% of the provincial total, up 5.3% percentage points from the same period last year.
