Tisco was awarded the title as one of the world’s 500 famous brands according to a poll jointly released by the World Brand Organization, US-China Economic Trade & Investment General Chamber of Commerce and the United States World Leading Enterprises Alliance on February 9 in Tokyo, Japan. 88 Chinese enterprises such as Sinopec, CNPC, Shenhua Group, Haier Group and Cheung Kong besides Tisco were named on the list, each brand with an annual turnover of over $10 billion.
