StonExpo and the concurrent SURFACES event will move their starting dates forward by a day next year, with both expos being held on Jan. 25-27 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The education programs for both events will also shift one day, running from Jan. 24 – 27.

"There are a few reasons we decided to shift the dates," said Dana Teague, Hanley Wood Exhibitions show director for the events. "Most importantly, we listened to our customers who said that a Tuesday – Thursday show works best for their busy schedules.

"It is also the most economical solution in terms of travel expenses for attendees and exhibitors alike. With all of the buzz already surrounding the 2011 shows, anything to make them even better is a win-win for everyone."
