Based on statistics of the Ministry of Commerce, this January, the trade volume between the mainland and Taiwan was USD10.25b, up 103.7% year-on-year, of which export of the mainland to Taiwan amounted to USD2.09b, up 85.5% year-on-year; and import from Taiwan USD8.16b, up 109% year-on-year.

In the month, the trade volume between the mainland and Taiwan declined 13.7% at the link relative ratio, of which export of the mainland to Taiwan dropped 12.6% at the link relative ratio; and import from Taiwan 14.1% at the ratio.
