A name list of the world’s top 500 Famous Brands was released in Tokyo on February 9. Among the nominees included thirteen Chinese steelmakers such as Shagang, Baosteel, Minmetals, Sinosteel, Hebei Iron and Steel, China Metallurgical Group, Shougang, Wuhan Iron and Steel, Shandong Iron and Steel, Taiyuan Iron and Steel, Anshan Iron and Steel, Maanshan Iron and Steel and Hunan Valin Iron and Steel.
