The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued paper on improving the quality of industrial products including steel in 2010, in which the ministry, above all, encourages enterprises to develop new products and nurture the brands of their own through self-innovations and implementing famous brand strategies, to launch pilot quality projects of industrial products and quality-driven rejuvenation campaigns, and to spread advanced quality management methods.
