Trans Hex has sold $15.8 million worth of rough diamonds at its February tender, Diamonds.net quoted the mining junior's press release as saying.
Trans Hex said the results "reflected strong demand and increasing prices for its rough production," adding that production was currently valued at $7.6 million and was still pending sale within the State Diamond Trader sales process.
The sale should be concluded early in the new financial year, it said.
Trans Hex said last year that production from its Baken and Richtersveld mines and its shallow water operations in South Afrca, are expected to reach about 100,000 carats for the full fiscal year.
