China to eliminate 25 million tons of pig iron capacity

The National Development and Reform Commission explicitly stated China would close 10 million kilowatts of small thermal power stations, remove 25 million tons of pig iron capacity, six million tons of steel capacity and 50 million tons of cement capacity in 2010, the last year of the 11th Five Year Plan.
