Approaches to improve performances of copper-based diamond saw blade

Abstract: The main problems of copper-based diamond saw blade during cutting process are studied. The approaches to improve the performances of the copper-based diamond saw are discussed in respect of the reinforcement of the matrix, the bonding to diamond grits and the improvement of the sintering system. The mechanisms of the approaches are analyzed. The research tendency in regard of further improvement of the comprehensive performance of the copper-based diamond saw is pointed out.
